Savor

Those who have traveled to Cabo with me would attest that my two favorite things to do in Cabo are spotting whales and eating delicious food. Here's where to find the most crave-worthy dishes around town.

Salsas and guacamole at Los Tres Gallos
Los Tres Gallos

This restaurant is set in a courtyard full of twinkly lights where an open kitchen shows locals hard at work creating beautiful, authentic meals that you'll crave for months afterward. The guacamole is made from perfectly ripe avocados, and everything I've tasted from the gorditas to chile relleno has been exceptional. They have a solid mariachi band that will serenade you for a true Mexican experience. Don't miss it!

Tempura shrimp sushi rolls
Nick-San

It shouldn't surprise you that a town known for world-class fishing has an exceptional spot for sushi. Nick-San offers the basic sushi rolls for beginners, plus more exotic sushi options for adventurous palates. During peak times of the year, it may be hard to get a table at prime dinner time, but their large and attentive wait staff will make sure your visit is delightful (even if you have to perch at the sushi bar).

Shrimp linguine at La Dolce
La Dolce

La Dolce is a cozy little restaurant nestled in the heart of downtown Cabo, not far from the legendary Cabo Wabo. Their menu is loaded with decadent Italian dishes and pizzas. Most are big enough to share or take home. They make a particularly big show of birthdays, so it's a great spot if you have a special occasion to celebrate. The small space can get pretty packed, so reservations are recommended. They have a second location on the marina near The Roof called Da Vinci's.

Tableside Caesar salad
Solomon's Landing

There's a reason this little marina-side restaurant made it onto Guy Fieri's radar for Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives: their menu is overflowing with crave-worthy plates. Their stuffed French toast, freshly caught fish, tableside guacamole, and tableside Caesar salad have all been big hits. Bonus? They make the best mojitos I've ever had. Ever. Not even close.

Chip, guacamole, and margarita
Crazy Lobster

The perfect Mexican restaurant has guacamole, margaritas, and a solid mariachi band. The Crazy Lobster is a contender. Their food will bring a smile to your face, and the smooth harmonies of their mariachi band will push your mood solidly into vacation mode.
